About Me

I hold a B.S. in Special Education, a M.A. in Elementary Education and I have been teaching for 23 years.  I also have endorsements in Reading and ESL (English as a Second Language).  I have high expectations for my students and believe that all children will rise to the level of expectations that adults hold for them.  The Common Core State Standards guide my class curriculum, and I will meet individual needs and learning styles by using a variety of teaching techniques.  One of these techniques will involve cooking, so if your child has any type of allergy, please let me know. Our main form of communication will be through email and our school’s website:  My email address is  Of course, if you need to speak to me directly, please call the office at 821-4981 and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

I am pleased to be working with Mrs. Donna Larragoite, educational assistant.  Together, we thank you for sharing your child with us and for supporting our class. I know that we can all look forward to a very rewarding year!
